ONYX Health Club 24/7 offers Gentle Yoga which focuses on stretching your body and relaxing your spirit. Even though this is Gentle yoga, there's a good chance that you will still break a sweat and become tired. The primary focus of this specific yoga is to achieve an experience that isn't strenuous on your body. This is done by light stretching and movements that are made in a slow methodical manner.
If you're curious as to what the difference is between standard Yoga and Gentle Yoga this will sum it up for you. Normal Yoga classes will keep you in continuous motion from one pose to another and in various positions. Gentle Yoga, on the other hand, is far slower and we focus on you taking your time. There is absolutely no rush.
Gentle Yoga initially gained traction by senior citizens, pregnant women and those who were unable to keep up with the pace of a standard Yoga class. Since its inception Gentle Yoga has transgressed and individuals of all age ranges can be found participating in the classes. This is because of the documented health benefits that derive from the class while still maintaining a lower level of exertion.

The Couch to 5K Program that will prepare you for the 2022 ONYX Cleveland Turkey Trot!
The best weather for running is right around the corner! With fall, comes cool air, beautiful scenery, and the 2022 ONYX Cleveland Turkey Trot! In preparation for this nostalgic tradition, ONYX is providing a Couch to 5K program to prep for the Thanksgiving run!
Starting September 26th, all participants will be emailed the running program and will keep track on Trainerize, a fitness app provided at sign-up.
$5 to participate. Anyone who completes the program and runs the 2022 ONYX Cleveland Turkey Trot will be entered in a drawing to win the cash pot. The more people to enter, the bigger the cash prize!!
GROUP RUNS: ONYX will be hosting group runs. Locations and dates to be announced after registration.
