ONYXstrong is an In-home Personal Training division where we take our proven “roadmap to a healthier you” training structure and apply it to home-based workouts! Our plan has helped thousands of clients around northeast Ohio achieve their ultimate fitness and wellness goals inside our clubs.

Now, we are offering the convenience of a trainer coming directly to your home with all the necessary workout equipment for your session. When gym access is limited, or you're too busy to drive to the gym, or if you simply can't afford in-home equipment - we’ve got you covered. We are now presenting the same opportunity to receive world-renowned personal training from our certified professionals in the privacy and convenience of your home or office.


Our team understands how difficult losing weight and gaining muscle can be without the right knowledge of where to even start. With your In-Home ONYXstrong Personal Training Program, we will start with a fitness consultation to analyze your body type, BMI, health history & current abilities so we are able to create your individualized fitness plan. ONYXstrong Personal Training will provide you with convenient and creative in-home workouts to help you crush your goals!



Certified Personal Trainer
Hi, my name is Michael, I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and I also graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Youngstown State University. Prior to graduation, I interned at the SPIRE Institute Performance Center as a Performance Coach/Trainer for the SPIRE Basketball Academy. I will integrate forms of resistance training/cardio (HIIT) training using weights, kettlebells, resistance bands, and/or bodyweight exercises to push you physically and mentally, ultimately achieving your goals. I can guide beginners to experienced individuals, finding new and challenging approaches to current routines. I have high hopes in pursuing professional athletes (NBA) and earning more certifications geared toward other specialties.


Fitness Director
Hi I’m Kevin, and I’m the Fitness Director and Master Trainer at Onyx Health Club 24/7 Mentor on the Lake. I have been involved with fitness training and conditioning since 1998 when I started weight training for interscholastic sports. I’ve earned a bachelor's of science degree in Sport Management from Cleveland State University as well as certifications from The National Council on Strength & Fitness (NCSF) and the American Sports & Fitness Association (ASFA). Some of my specialties include; Muscle building, Fat loss, Sport-specific training, and conditioning as well as High-intensity Interval training. I pride myself on giving my clients all of the tools that they need to reach their goals, as well as passing along my knowledge of fitness and body sculpting to each and every client I work with.

Hello, my name is Madison Trokanski. I am a certified personal trainer at Onyx Health Club 24/7 Niles. I have been involved in the fitness industry for 2 years. Certified as a personal trainer through The American Council on Exercise (ACE). Having extensive knowledge on the human anatomy, exercise physiology, fundamentals of applied kinesiology, nutrition basics and the physiology of training. Also, musculoskeletal injuries and prevention. Specializing in corrective exercise and resistance training in all populations including those with disease and or disorders. Takes great pride in designing fun and effective programs that will encourage clients to reach their goals. Implementing various types of training methods such as strength, resistance and bodybuilding through the use of free-weights and body-weight exercise. Hoping to continue my education this Fall by going into a physical therapy program.

Greetings, my name is Nate Poston Jr. and I'm a Certified Personal Trainer at ONYX Health Club 24/7 in North Olmsted. I am certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine(NASM) and I graduated from Heritage College with a diploma and personal training. I have been training since the mid-90s after surviving Desert Storm. I'm also a specialist in Nutrition! I specialize in functional training, which we all know is very important when it comes to reducing injury and mimicking everyday life movement patterns. My goals are to inspire all individuals (no matter the fitness level) and to encourage and help people engage in a healthier lifestyle! I’ve suffered from lower back pain for 5 years. I had been diagnosed with a compressed disk and a pinched nerve. I’d been to a chiropractor, physical therapy, massage therapy, and even had epidural injections. Nothing was getting me any lasting relief. Throughout all of this I’d tried training on my own, swimming, elliptical, weight lifting, walking, but everything I tried only ended up irritating my back more. In July of 2019 I decided to try personal training at Onyx as a last resort before giving in to what seemed like enviable lower back surgery. I started working with Racheal in hopes of rehabbing and straightening my back and maybe relieving some of my pain. Racheal designed a workout plan for me that would do exactly that.
